Linkin Park's Chester Bennington's Ex-Wife 'Disgusted' With Singer's Funeral #farokani #rii #ancientworld #rameses2

The ex-wife of the late Linkin Park singer, Chester Bennington, criticized those who organized the funeral in a Facebook post.

 Samantha Bennington claimed that she and and Chester's son, Draven, were excluded from the service and events after the funeral.

The musician died on July 20.  They found him hanging in a bedroom in his Los Angeles home.  More than 500 family members and close friends, including his Linkin Park bandmates and other musicians he shared the stage with, attended a private funeral in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

 The Linkin Park frontman's funeral was held in July at a private event in Palos Verdes. 

 “I am so disgusted on so many levels!” Samantha wrote in her post.  "My son and I have not had a chance to speak, not even at his funeral (which only represented his married life to his new wife)."

 Samantha, who was married to Chester from 1996 until her divorce in 2005, said the service focused too much on his musical personality and not on her family life.

 “It was a delusional and disgusting display from all the people who spoke at the funeral.  They never mentioned a man who grew up as a little boy and loved many things.  Becoming a rock star was just one thing!” she wrote.  “Why did the itinerary look like a cheap happy hour menu?  I am so disgusted on so many levels!  There were a lot of friends and family who should have been there, but when you turn a funeral into reducing someone's life by just 12 years, that's what you get."

 She said Chester's widow, Talinda Bennington, did not disclose any funeral arrangements.  She also said that other family members (such as Chester's parents) were not invited.

 “We know why you are the way you are and say the things you say.  You are afraid that the truth will come out.  I am not talking about just one person,” she wrote.  “I hope they like to capitalize on his death.  Karma is real.  Business is business but I see zero love."
